Second lane reopens near Highway 30 landslide

U.S. Highway 30 is now open to two-way traffic at the location of a landslide east of Astoria.
A landslide occurred near milepost 74 around Wauna in November, shutting down the highway for several days. One lane with flaggers had been open since December.

Repair work continues as crews remove debris and restore barriers at the site, the Oregon Department of Transportation said.
There is no estimate on when the third lane nearest to the hillside can be reopened, the department said.
