PENDLETON — The Main Street Cowboys are having a “Hometown Christmas” on Saturday, Nov. 26, in downtown Pendleton.

The event is 2-7 p.m. Main Street and Court Avenue and includes backdrops for family photos, singing, vendors and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Clause.

There also will be raffles and auctions to benefit Miranda Case, a sophomore at Pendleton High School in need of a heart transplant. Risa Riggen with the Main Street Side Saddlers said Case is in Seattle getting treatment so her body will not reject the heart, and she may need a liver transplant as well.

And in perhaps a first for Pendleton, there will be a flash mob at 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Main Street and Court Avenue.

“We really want the flash mob to be big,” Riggen said. “We will have a drone taking pictures. It could help make Pendleton famous.”
