ODFW hosts conservation virtual open house

SALEM — Organizations and individuals with an interest in the persistence of Oregon’s fish, wildlife and their habitats are invited to join an ODFW Conservation Open House, to be held virtually via Zoom Wednesday, Sept. 28, from 10-11:30 a.m.

The purpose of the meeting is twofold: discuss the challenges facing fish wildlife, and the habitats they depend on in Oregon and the ways ODFW and its partners are seeking to address these challenges; and discuss how Oregon’s conservation community can work together over the next few years.

Topics on the agenda include:

• Instream Water Rights

• ODFW Drought Outreach Campaign

• Ocean Acidification and Hypoxia Council Update

• Federal Funding Program Updates
