UMATILLA — If bumping and spiking interests you, the Blue Mountain Officials Association encourages you to consider volleyball officiating. Anyone who enjoys volleyball and wants to earn a little extra cash is invited to attend the upcoming meeting.

The first officials meeting of the season is Monday, Aug. 8, 6 p.m. in at Umatilla High School, 1400 Seventh St. During the month of August, meetings will be each Monday.

Training is provided for both newcomers and returning officials. The volleyball season runs through the first week of November.
