Lacey Jean Perry, 35, passed away Friday, Nov. 19, 2021, at her home in Rieth, Oregon. Lacey was born in Hermiston, Oregon, on April 24, 1986, to John Frances and Nora Jean (Cossitt) Perry.

After her father’s passing in 1990, Lacey lived with her mom and brother, Jay, in Athena and Weston until her mom’s passing in 2008 when she went to live with Angela Cossitt, where she resided until her death.

Lacey loved her family, music and watching TV — “General Hospital,” “Pit Bulls & Parolees” and “Long Island Medium” were her favorites. Lacey was plagued with many health issues but always had a great attitude.

Lacey was preceded in death by her mom, dad and brother, Jay. She is survived by her cousin/mom, Angela Cossitt at the home; her uncle, Tom Cossitt of Athena; uncle, Tim Cossitt of Montana, aunt/mom, Mickey Daniels of Adams, Oregon; aunt, Suzy Zellner of Montana; cousins/sisters, Tana Cossitt and Shawna Grende of North Powder; Jamie Danforth of La Grande, Melissa Britton of Pendleton; and cousins, Bob and Corey Cossitt of Montana, and Chance Dunleavy Cossitt of Baker City.

Services will be Sunday, Nov. 28, 2021, at the Athena Christian Church at 3 p.m. A potluck dinner will follow.
