WALLA WALLA — The Jonathan M. Wainwright Memorial VA Medical Center, Walla Walla, is set to hold its second drive-thru flu shot clinic at all its clinic locations on Saturday, Oct. 23.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the parking lot of the medical center. Eligible veterans are able to receive a flu shot free of charge, from the comfort of their car.
All those in attendance are required to wear masks during the flu shot drive-thru. The event is open to eligible veterans, but flu shots can be scheduled by appointment if unable to attend the drive-thru.
This is the second drive-thru clinic that the Walla Walla VA has hosted this fall. The Yakima VA Clinic will also be conducting flu vaccinations during the Yakima Veterans Stand Down & Benefits Fair at the Yakima State Fair Park Sun Dome on Oct. 23.
