Letter: Gregg seeks success for all students DO NOT RUN
Published 5:30 am Saturday, May 1, 2021
I am writing to support Patrick Gregg for Position 7 on the Pendleton School Board. Having previously served on the school board, I remain interested in quality individuals taking on the responsibility of making decisions that impact the children of Pendleton.
Pat is such a person.
Pat is a native Oregonian who grew up in Wilsonville and attended the University of Portland and Willamette Law School. Pat’s parents were both in careers of public service — his mother a teacher and his father a police officer. Pat chose to move to Pendleton to raise a family and practice law.
He has been involved as a volunteer with the local bar association, and as a board member with the Umatilla County Historical Society and Cason’s Place. With his wife, Jill, he is raising three boys ages 9, 7, and 3, and is a leader of his son’s Cub Scout troop.
Pat is dedicated to and supports continuous improvement in Pendleton schools. He believes in working to find a way to resume a full curriculum in all our schools. He understands that a good public education can and will allow students to achieve personal and career success in the future.
Please join me in voting for Patrick Gregg for Position 7 on 16R Pendleton School Board.
