Echo School veterans’ celebration altered

- Echo students took to the streets during a veterans celebration parade in 2019, marching down Main Street and back to the school for a special assembly honoring local veterans.
ECHO — Echo School’s annual Veterans Celebration scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 11, has been altered due to the governor’s “pause” on gatherings.
The Veterans Assembly will kick off the event at 10 a.m. at the Echo School football field, 600 Gerone St., as planned, but will only be livestreamed on the Echo School District Facebook page. Only those directly involved in the assembly will be attending in person.
