UMATILLA — An inmate of Two Rivers Correctional Institution died Monday, Aug. 24, at a local medical facility, the Oregon Department of Corrections announced in a press release.

Douglas Burnham, 80, entered state custody on March 8, 2011, from Clackamas County with an earliest release date of April 22, 2022. As with all in-custody deaths, the Oregon State Police have been notified and the medical examiner will determine cause of death.

TRCI is a multi-custody prison in Umatilla that houses approximately 1,800 adults in custody.
