NEWBERG — Local students were among those who earned dean’s list recognition at George Fox University for the spring 2020 semester. Traditional undergraduate students must earn a 3.5 grade point average or above on 12 or more hours of graded work to earn a spot on the dean’s list.

Students named to the list include:

Helix: Sadie Wilson, junior, exercise science; Hermiston: Joshua Simpson, junior, accounting and finance; Irrigon: Marlina Serratos, senior, elementary education; Pendleton: Haley Burchard, senior, Spanish/mathematics, Makya Theis, junior, biology, and Abby Williams, junior, elementary education.

Also, Milton-Freewater native Moises Manon earned a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from the university during spring commencement.
