Morrow County announces seventh case of COVID-19

MORROW COUNTY — Morrow County announced Thursday its identified a seventh confirmed case of COVID-19, according to a press release. 

The newest case is a known household contact of a previously confirmed case, the release stated. 

No demographic information was provided about the individual, such as an age range, sex, race or where they reside in the county. There is also no information provided about whether any cases have recovered and how many are hospitalized, if any. 

Morrow County has provided no such data on any of its confirmed cases to date, other than stating cases have been identified in both the north and south ends of the county. 

According to Oregon Health Authority data, which doesn’t reflect the seventh case announced Thursday, 89 COVID-19 tests have been conducted on samples from Morrow County residents.
