MORROW COUNTY —The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday night that the county had discovered a second positive case of COVID-19.

A department press release states the investigation is ongoing, but the second case doesn’t appear to be related to the first. In accordance with Oregon Health Authority guidelines, the office intends to contact anyone who was at-risk of being exposed to the virus.

Like Umatilla County Public Health, Morrow County is not including age ranges and cities of residence for residents diagnosed with novel coronavirus in its announcements.
