Coach Garrett’s outlook: “I believe we will be able to compete this upcoming season,” he said. “We are a young team with 14 of our 20 ball players being freshman and sophomores. Last season, we struggled with errors and it costs us a lot of games. We look to clean up these mistakes and play quality baseball throughout the season. It will be all hands on deck for pitching this season as we look to find that Game 1 and Game 2 starters to fill those roles. With the addition of another catcher that will help with the rotation.”
