PENDLETON — A Pendleton native who is a full-time professional singer living in Christchurch, New Zealand, is returning to town for a performance at Hamley Steakhouse & Saloon.

Mandi Miller & the Main Street Band will play Friday, Aug. 3 from 6-9 p.m. at 8 S.E. Court Ave., Pendleton. There is no cover charge.

Miller will be joined by a trio of local musicians — Alan Feves, Albert Tibbets and Jonathon Wolotira — as well as Mick Berry of San Francisco, who also authored “The Drummer’s Bible.” The group will perform a variety of old school rock, pop and country favorites.

A 1988 Pendleton High School graduate, Miller received six awards in the World Championships of Performing Arts in 2012. In addition, Miller and her bandmate Mark “Android” Wilson released “Starman in the Stars: Ode to Bowie” in June 2016.
