My hat is off to David Burns, who wrote the article on sanctuary cities (April 27, EO). For all the problems Oregon has, it doesn’t need to be protecting illegals that sneak across our borders.

We have a governor who sticks up her nose at the federal government, which in my opinion is un-American. Oh, but she thinks the feds should send grant money, etc, to her, which is pretty much a double-edged sword.

Hopefully we can elect politicians who have more respect for the job (but I’m not holding my breath).
