James Stanek and Katie McCune

Katie McCune and James Stanek were married Aug. 27, 2016, at J. Bookwalter Winery in Richland, Wash.

Katie is the daughter Hal and Mary Ann McCune of Pendleton. She graduated from Pendleton High School and the University of Idaho. James is the son of Frank and Tianna Stanek of Maple Valle, Wash. He graduated from high school in Maple Valley, and from the University of Idaho.

The maid of honor was Nicole Harris, the bride’s sister. The best men were Chris Satre, the groom’s childhood friend, and Chris Buchberger, his cousin. Katie’s brothers, Gabe and Jake, were groomsman, and her niece, Pearl, was a bridesmaid. James’ sisters, Amanda and Morgan, were bridesmaids.

The couple were married by Robert Tunison of Boise, a close college friend. The bride wore a strapless beaded lace dress.

The couple lives in Edmunds, Wash.
