HERMISTON — Hermiston School District will begin school on Aug. 29 and end on June 7 for the 2016-2017 school year.

The school board approved the calendar on Monday.

Winter break will run from Dec. 21, 2016 to Jan. 2, 2017 and spring break will fall on March 27-31, 2017. Students will get a four-day weekend for Veterans Day and for Presidents Day, and three days off the week of Thanksgiving. Graduation will be June 3, 2017.
