PENDLETON The Pendleton School District will host a parenting event led by Mac Bledsoe, father of former NFL quarterback Drew Bledsoe, at Pendleton High School on

Tuesday, October 14. The event will revolve around teaching positive behavior and good

decision-making skills through the Parenting With Dignity program, which Bledsoe founded with his wife Barbara.

The event begins at 6 p.m.; tickets are $20 per family and include dinner. Tickets can be bought at any Pendleton school or at Daves Chevron. Childcare will be provided.

Bledsoe taught high school in Walla Walla and Yakima for 32 years and coached football, basketball, baseball and track. He authored the book Parenting With Dinigity with his wife Barbara. The duo have conducted parenting seminars across the country for 20 years.
