WALLA WALLA An Eileen Fisher runway show is being hosted by the Walla Walla Clothing Co.

In celebration of the brands 30th anniversary, models are being flown in from Los Angeles and Seattle for the largest runway show this year outside of New York.

The event is Thursday beginning with champagne at 5 p.m. on Main Street in downtown Walla Walla. The models will hit the runway at 6 p.m., showing off fall and winter looks followed by a discussion about upcoming fashion trends.

The evening continues in the store with food, wine, shopping and a drawing for a $500 Eileen Fisher wardrobe. In addition, a portion of the evenings proceeds will benefit Friends of Children of Walla Walla and Girls Council of Walla Walla. Showcasing the Eileen Fisher fall and winter collection, a trunk show continues Friday through Sunday at 103 E. Main St., Walla Walla.

With more than 400 specialty stores across the nation that carry the brand, Walla Walla Clothing Co. is the largest independent retailer of Eileen Fisher fashions. The merchandise can also be found at major department stores.
