Youths compete in NW Farm Supply jackpot show

- <p>Competing in conformation and showmanship, 36 youths ages 9-18 participated in the eighth annual Jackpot Steer Show at NW Farm Supply in Hermiston.</p>
Brady Linnell of Hermiston was grand champion in conformation and senior showmanship during the recent NW Farm Supply Jackpot Steer Show, held in June in Hermiston. In addtion, Tyann Tellefson of Warden, Washington, was the junior grand champinon in showmanship and Jamie Schroepfer of Sequim, Washington, was the rookie grand champion.
The other awards given for conformation were: reserve grand champion, Morianna Stephens of Hermiston; third place, Tyann Tellefson; and fourth, Tara Tellefson of Warden.

Senior: reserved grand champion, Taylor Betz of Hermiston; third, Kenzi Hughes of Heppner. Junior: reserve grand champion, McCall Lovejoy of Eltopia, Washington; third, Tara Tellefson. Rookie: reserve grand champion, Dakata Moss of Stanfield; third, JoAnna Pihl of Hermiston.
The event, in its eighth year, included 36 participants ranging in age from 9-18. They came from 10 counties in Oregon and Washington.
