Kick up your heels for 4-H fundraiser dance

PENDLETON Dust off your boots, pull out your bling and make plans to attend A Diamond in the West, a formal/semi-formal dance fundraiser.
Sponsored by the Umatilla County 4-H Leaders Association, the event will help serve more than 5,800 local youths who participate in 4-H. Money raised will be used to support the 4-H scholarship program for needy youth, project curriculum, summer activity resources and educational tours.
Dance to the music of Nuketown and enjoy hors doeuvres prepared by Outwest Catering during the Saturday, April 19 event that begins at 8:30 p.m. at the Pendleton Convention Center, 1601 Westgate. The event also includes a no-host bar, silent auction and a raffle for a Marlin 336W rifle.
Tickets are $30 per guest or $210 per table of 8. Seating is limited with reservations requested prior to Tuesday, April 8. Tickets are available at local OSU extension office or by calling 541-278-5404.
