New exhibit features Southern Oregon in the 1960’s

Medford, Ore. — A new exhibit that opened this past weekend is taking residents back in time.
The exhibit, “Far Out! Southern Oregon in the 1960s!” is put together by the Southern Oregon Historical Society.

There are plenty of artifacts, photos and stories illustrating life in the area from the iconic decade.
“It is our way of bringing back to life the 1960’s and making comparisons between what was going on in the United States as a whole, with how those people experienced those things the 60’s brought in Southern Oregon,” said Rob Esterlein, the Executive Director of the Southern Oregon Historical Society.
The exhibit runs through April 27 on the ground floor of Woolworth Building in Medford.
Admission is $3 for children and adults. Admission is free to SOHS members.
