Washington County sheriff’s deputies say Dave Dahl tried to flee the police and then rammed two patrol cars and damaged a third in the Cedar Hills neighborhood.

Sergeant Dave Thompson, with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, says Dahl was booked on several charges.

“There was assault two, so assault in the second degree which is a Measure 11 crime, and that comes from ramming a police car and injuring a deputy, assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, reckless driving, criminal mischief.”

Thompson says Dahl was tested for his blood alcohol content, but it was negligible. He says Dahl refused arrest and that police had to use a stun gun.

Three deputies were taken to the hospital to be examined. All were treated and released.

Dahl will be arraigned Friday in Washington County. His bail is set at $290,000.

Dave’s Killer Bread labels carry a statement from Dahl, calling himself a “four-time loser” who made good after 15 years in prison.
