Donna Rae was born in Ogallala, Nebraska, on October 1, 1930. She was the last of thirteen children born to Oscar and Bessie Watson, twelve daughters and one son Orville who died as a toddler.

The family moved to Pendleton when Donna was about six years old. Most of her eleven sisters married and moved away from the area. Her sisters Gladys Smith, Wilma Scharn, Della Harrell and Bernita Lick raised their families here. Donna married Robert V. Farrow on February 3, 1962, in Winnemucca, Nevada; they made their home in Pendleton where they raised a son, Thomas.

In her younger years Donna loved to travel and camp along the coast with her family and frequently her many sisters; they could take up entire campsites. Donna had been a longtime employee of Garners Grocery in Pendleton until she reached the age of sixty. Donna loved to garden; she grew beautiful flowers in her yard and a vegetable garden next door in her sons yard. She enjoyed cooking, often using the fruit of her gardening labors. She was always very family-oriented but her true pride and joy was her grandson Gregory, whom she adored.

Donna is survived by her husband Robert V. Farrow, son Thomas O. Farrow and grandson Gregory T. Farrow, all of Pendleton, Oregon, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother and all of her sisters.
