Group seeks volunteers for bike program

HERMISTON A five-day long bike program that uses adapted equipment to help individuals with disabilities learn to ride bicycles gets underway next week.
The iCan Bike program is Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Armand Larive Middle School, 1497 S.W. Ninth St, Hermiston.
Volunteers must be at least 16, unless accompanied by an adult. Registration forms are available at www.icanshine.org/hermiston-or.

Peace Lutheran hosts Bible camp
PENDLETON Bible lessons, free dinner and activities are planned during Gods Backyard Bible Camp Under the Stars.
The event runs Monday through Thursday from 5-7:30 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, 210 N.W. Ninth St., Pendleton. Although registration is free, people are asked to pre-register for meal planning.
All school-aged children and their families are welcome. A special preschool class is planned for ages 3-5.
