Compared to Feb. 19 at the same market, no trends due to the President’s Day federal holiday. Trade active with moderate demand. Slaughter cows made up 43 percent of the offering, Slaughter bulls 1 percent, and feeders 56 percent of the supply. The feeder supply included 63 percent steers and 37 percent heifers. Nearly 25 percent of the run weighed more than 600 lbs.
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2: 500-600 lbs. $144.50-147; 600-700 lbs. $133; 600-700 lbs. $145, thin fleshed; 800-900 lbs. $123.

Buyer participation was light. Slaughter cows and bulls steady to firm.
Trade active with good demand. Best demand for guaranteed grass fed cows. Slaughter cows were approximately 78 percent of the supply; Slaughter bulls 5 percent, and feeders 17 percent of the supply. The feeder supply included 63 percent steers and 37 percent heifers. Near 46 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
