MILTON-FREEWATER Milton-Freewater Unified School District hired Rob Clark as its new superintendent.

Clark will start July 1. He most recently was special programs director in the Eastmont School District in East Wenatchee, Wash.

Clark will replace interim superintendent James Reger. Other finalists were Terry Brandon of the Marysville, Wash., School District and Ken Cox, Ph.D., of the Vernonia School District.
