FRIDAY

A worker at the Pendleton domestic violence shelter, 1103 S.E Court Place, told police at 9:31 a.m. she found a man hiding in a clients closet and he became threatening. Officers didnt find the man after he left, but two female clients admitted to letting him into the building. The shelter worker then trespassed the two clients and police sent the case the city attorney for further review. Police also contacted Oregon Department of Human Services, which placed the two clients and their children in a motel for the night.

A manager of the Hermiston Aaron’s, 1625 N. First St., told police at 9:41 a.m. about fraud and theft at multiple store locations.

A driver hit a tree near 80500 Patterson Ferry Road, Irrigon, and the tree fell and hit another persons trailer. A caller at 1:28 p.m. told the Morrow County Sheriffs Office that the vehicle driver and the trailer owner were in an argument that could become a fight.

A Lexington woman found a neighbors dog killed her rabbits in the 200 block of East Main Street. She reported the attack to the Morrow County Sheriffs Office at 4:06 p.m. The sheriffs office spoke with both parties, and they reached a compromise.

Stanfield police received more calls about possible fireworks or gunshots. A caller at 8:25 p.m. complained about fireworks near West Harding Avenue and North Main Street, but an officer was not able to find anyone setting off fireworks. A caller at 8:31 p.m. reported hearing seven gunshots near Willow Drive, Stanfield, and then a loud boom. A caller at 10:50 p.m. said fireworks had been going for about 15 minutes east of his house on Heather Drive. At 10:35 p.m. a Hermiston caller told dispatchers, they heard a loud bang that lit up my whole street and shook our house, on Northeast Third Place, Hermiston. The caller also reported going outside but did not see anything out of the ordinary.

 

SATURDAY

A guest of Oxford Suites, 1050 N. First St., Hermiston, told police at 3:28 a.m. that someone stole her purse from the hotel Friday at about 10 p.m. She said the purse contained her checkbook, credit cards, drivers license, state work identification, paperwork, receipts and $90 cash.

A Hermiston resident at 3:40 a.m. told police someone stole tires and wheels worth $1,200 from his residence on Southwest Sixth Street.

An employee of a Milton-Freewater store at 3:09 p.m. said there was a theft from the business in the 400 block of South Columbia Street.

Someone cut off a padlock from a storage container and stole a generator from the 100 block of Southwest Wyoming Avenue, Irrigon, the property owner told the Morrow County Sheriffs Office at 5:07 p.m.

The owner of a greenish 1997 Buick LeSabre told Hermiston police at 9:22 p.m. the car was stolen from the Southeast Fourth Street.

SUNDAY

A man at 2:40 p.m. reported the theft of four pickup tires from his residence on West Madrona Avenue, Hermiston.

A Milton-Freewater resident at 3:29 p.m. told police someone entered her residence and stole items in the 1200 block of Walnut Street.

A Weston resident at 7:36 p.m. told police a dog attacked and killed her chicken and ducks on South Broad Street.

ARRESTS, CITATIONS

Friday

A Pendleton womans call to police led to the arrest of one man on weapons charges and have officers on the lookout for a second man.

The woman at 10:09 p.m. told police a man with a sawed-off shotgun was at her residence in the 300 block of Southwest 16th Street, Officers caught up to the suspect, Michael David Douglas Mason, 24, of Pendleton, in the 400 block of Southwest Hailey Avenue while he was in a black 2006 Mazda 6.

Officers arrested and booked Mason into the Umatilla County Jail, Pendleton, for felon in possession of a weapon, possession of a prohibited firearm, menacing, second-degree disorderly conduct and for violating parole. Police Lt. Bill Caldera said officers are looking for the second man, who faces similar charges.

Saturday

Boardman police arrested Leobardo Jacquez III, 36, of 200 N.E. Washington Ave., Irrigon, for felony domestic violence.

Hermiston police arrested Betty Joan Branson, 28, of 28927 Bridge Road, for driving under the influence of intoxicants and on a Hermiston Municipal Court warrant.

Sunday

A Stanfield officer cited two dog owners for having unlicensed dogs after a caller at 10:39 a.m. reported her dog got into a neighbors yard on Alder Street and was killed by the neighbors pit bull.

Hermiston police arrested Tara Chalaine Dreher, 24, of 80262 S. Edwards Road, Hermiston, for DUII.

Hermiston police arrested John Raymond Olsen, 66, of 440 N.W. 11th St., Hermiston, for DUII, hit and run (property) and reckless driving.

And Hermiston police arrested Emiliano Bautista Ramos, 25, of 287 W. Hartley Ave., Hermiston, for DUII.

Pendleton police arrested Patrick John Hernandez, 26, no address provided, for possession of methamphetamine and on a warrant for failure to appear.

Pendleton police cited Leanna Duchek, 39, of 75870 Cresswell Road, Pendleton, for DUII.
