Pendleton police at 8:47 a.m. told the Oregon Department of Human Services that a Pendleton mother told doctors at Walla Walla General Hospital she was concerned her 4-year-old child was sexually abused because he had a rash. The problem was hygiene, however, not abuse.

A caller at 10:42 a.m. told the Umatilla County Sheriffs Office that someone within the last day or so dropped off a male Chihuahua/schnauzer mix on her property on Windy Lane, Hermiston. The dog has a rabies tag, showing its residence is in Kennewick, Wash. She also said no one answers the phone numbers on the tag, and for now she will keep the dog as hers.
A woman at 12:26 p.m. told Umatilla police a male has been harassing her. Tuesday night he pounded on her motor home on Quincy Avenue, and when she told him to leave he threw something at the motor home, damaging a light. She asked to speak to an officer.
A man at 5:59 p.m. told Pendleton police his ex-wife or girlfriend forgot to pick up their daughter after school and sounded like she was doing a drug deal when he called her work phone. An officer responded, and police notified the Oregon Department of Human Services.

Hermiston police arrested Kelly Marie Rosas, 34, no fixed address, for possession of methamphetamine and Umatilla County warrants for failure to appear.

Hermiston police arrested Brian Mearsha, 37, of 33961 S.E. Elm St., Scappoose, Ore., for possession of methamphetamine and on a Columbia County warrant for violating probation.
