Bluegrass on weekend slate

ZILLA, Wash. Lovers of bluegrass music wont want to miss Zillah Bluegrass Pickin Days this weekend at Stewart Park in Zillah, Wash. The festival, sponsored by the Zillah Lions Club, will feature food, fun, and plenty of bluegrass Friday from 5-9 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Featured bands include Snipes Mt. Bluegrass Band, Gold Creek Station, Coyote Ridge Wranglers, Rainier Philharmonic and Alder Creek. Admission to the festival is free, though donations are welcome. Food and beverage concessions will be available for purchase at the Cook Shack; alcohol is not permitted in the park during the festival.
