FRIDAY

A street sweeper flagged down a Hermiston police officer at 5:43 a.m. to report the Tiki Hut at Butte Park, 1245 N.W. Seventh St., had been broken into.

Another break-in was reported at the Hermiston Jiffy Lube, 345 N. First St., at 6:46 a.m.

A Pendleton man called the police at 7:13 a.m. to report the theft of his backpack from the top of a paper box outside of the Cookie Tree Restaurant, 30 S.W. Emigrant Ave. He said he had left it on the paper box for approximately 10 minutes and it was gone when he returned. The backpack contained clothing, various non-narcotic medications in a pill caddy and a cellphone with charger. He requested contact if the backpack was found.

A Umatilla resident called the Umatilla Police Department at 9:28 a.m. to report her purse had been stolen from her unsecured vehicle on Cowlitz Avenue.

A Hermiston woman in the 1200 block of West Ridgeway Avenue at 10:38 a.m. reported her pickup had been entered and a saddle and bridle worth $2,500 taken.

At 4:11 p.m. an employee of Lucky Endz Gifts, 215 E. Main St., Hermiston, reported two women and a man had entered the store and the women shoplifted items while the man kept the employee busy. The suspects left the store through a back door.

Someone reached through a partially opened car window at 7-Eleven, 775 S. Highway 395, Hermiston, and stole $385 in cash from the owners wallet. The car was locked but the window had been left down about 4 inches.

SATURDAY

A Milton-Freewater man reported the theft of his car from the 100 block of South Elizabeth Street at 5:20 a.m.

The Umatilla County Sheriffs Office took a report of the theft of a riding lawn mower from the vicinity of East Punkin Center Road in Hermiston at 5:57 a.m.

Two burglaries were reported within minutes of each other in Hermiston at 6:07 and 6:08 a.m. The first was reported in the 1800 block of Northeast Sixth Place, and the second in the 600 block of East Oregon Avenue. Multiple items were taken from the first residence and from the garage and vehicle of the second residence. A?third burglary was reported at 9:40 a.m. in the 600 block of East Browning Avenue. In all cases, the residents were at home sleeping when the burglaries occurred.

A man in the 800 block of Southeast Ninth St., Pendleton, reported the theft of customized golf clubs from his vehicle and a deep-cycle RV?battery from his trailer at 6:57 p.m. to Pendleton police.

SUNDAY

A Umatilla resident on Birch Court reported a bicycle stolen from his garage at 10:05 a.m. The resident said the intruder also attempted to take fishing poles.

Hermiston police at 11:06 a.m. received a theft report from a man in the 100 block of West Beebe Avenue who said the front license plate had been stolen from his vehicle.

The Umatilla County Sheriffs Office was called at 2:40 p.m. by a man reported a burglary in the 28000 block of Highway 730, Umatilla. He said the door was taken off the hinges and several items were missing.

Another bicycle was reported stolen at 5:35 p.m. by a Hermiston man in the 1500 block of West Highland Avenue. Hermiston police took a theft report.

Hermiston police at 8:46 p.m. received a call from a woman in the 400 block of West Standard Avenue who reporter someone had shot out the window and shot two holes in her vehicle. She requested contact from an officer.

Judy Marie Morris, 20, address not provided, was arrested by Boardman police for driving under the influence of intoxicants (DUII).

Saturday

Nicholas Aguirre, 18, 115 N. Main St., No. 17, Milton-Freewater, was arrested by Milton-Freewater police for possession of methamphetamine.

Megan Ann Blake, 22, address not provided, was arrested by Pendleton police for driving under the influence of intoxicants (DUII).

Sunday

Ryan Patrick Sandwick, 39, address not provided, was arrested by the Oregon State Police on a felony failure to appear warrant and parole violation.

William Scott West, 33, address not provided, was arrested by the Umatilla County Sheriffs Office and charged with felony fourth-degree assault.

Christian Shane Wilson, 36, address not provided, was arrested by the Pilot Rock Police Department and charged with felony fourth-degree assault.

Mark Anthony Cano, 41, address not provided, was cite by Pendleton police for DUII, refusal of breath test and driving while suspended.

Robert L. Nikola, 21, address not provided, was cited by Pendleton police for DUII, no operators license and possession of less than 1 oz. marijuana.
