Pendleton police are searching for 13-year-old Thomas-James Ryan Alberti, 727 S.W. 28th St., who was last seen at the Pendleton Family Aquatic Center.

Alberti, who according to the Pendleton Schools website goes by Tommy, was last seen by his family at 10:45 a.m. Thursday. He ran away from his home at 727 S.W. 28th St. at about 10:45 a.m. yesterday, after being grounded, police said.

Police Lt. Bill Caldera at 11:30 a.m. Thursday said he had no updates on the ongoing search, but anyone with information on Albertis whereabouts should call the police station at 541-276-4411 or dispatch line at 541-966-3651 after business hours, which are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Alberti is a light-skinned Native American, 5 foot, 5 inches tall, weighing 110 pounds. He has green eyes and brown hair that is now longer than shown in his most recent school photo. It is not known what he is wearing.

Caldera said “A Child is Missing Alert Program” has called residences within 4.7 miles of Albertis address to ask if they have seen him. He said Pendleton Police have been in frequent contact with the family and anyone associated with the Alberti or his family.
