Linda DeAnn Keifer

Linda DeAnn Keifer was born December 31st, 1968, at Lebanon, Oregon, to parents Jimmy Dale and Carolyn DeAnn (Linkel) Kietzke. She died Thursday, July 5th, 2012, at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Hermiston, Oregon, at the age of 43.

She was raised in Hermiston and graduated from Hermiston High School in 1987. She attended Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. Linda lived in Lake Oswego, Oregon, for a while and worked for AT&T. She returned to Hermiston in 2003 and worked as an inventory specialist for Wildhorse Casino.

Linda was a 4-H leader. She enjoyed crafts, making jewelry, and photography.

She is survived by father and stepmother Jimmy and Michele Kietzke of Hermiston; son Drew Keifer of Afghanistan, currently serving in the U.S. Army; daughter Mariah Keifer of Hermiston; sister Jonny Smith of Meridian, Idaho; stepsister summer and husband Matt Utley of Everett. Wash.; nieces Deanna Smith of Meridian, Idaho and Anna and Kayla Utley of Everett, Wash.; nephew Nicholas Smith of Meridian, Idaho; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by mother Carolyn Kietzke; aunt Donna Linkel; uncle Myrl Butch Kietzke; grandparents Don and Mabel Linkel, William Kietzke, and Jim and Vera Munsel.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 13th, 2012, at 6:00 p.m. at the Stanfield Baptist Church in Stanfield, Oregon. Private family burial will be held on Saturday, July 14th, 2012, at the Hermiston Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children, 3101 S.W. Sam Jackson Park Road, Portland, OR 97201.
