Cydney Ann Corey and Kipp Mychal Curtis, both of Pendleton, were united in marriage July 16, 2011, in a double ring ceremony at the home of the brides parents, Douglas and Heather Corey, in Adams. The groom is the son of Paul and Kathleen Curtis of Pendleton.

The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Ken Chrysler. The bride wore a strapless white silk trumpet gown, and carried a bouquet of white calla lilies.

Maid of honor was Kelsey Hawkins of Scottsdale, Ariz., and best man was James Choate-Deeds, brother of the groom, of Milton, Wash. Bridesmaids included friends Bethany Lukens and Kerra Schmidt, both of Portland, Kathryn Linehan of Pendleton, Abby Vanderplaat of Hermiston, Carrie Aicher of Eagle, Idaho, and Chelsie Speer of Gresham, and junior bridesmaid Madeline Hales, cousin of the bride, of Adams. Friends Lat Whipplinger (Helena, Mont.), Jon Levy (La Grande), Brian Sloan (Denver, Colo.), Nick Cantlon (Spain), brother of the bride Bobby Corey (Adams), and junior groomsman and nephew Keanen Choate-Deeds (Milton, Wash.) all attended the groom.

Ring bearer was Easton Corey, cousin of the bride, of Pendleton. Cousin Reese Furstenberg of Pendleton was the flower girl.

After a wedding trip to Aruba and Curacao, the Curtises are at home in Pendleton.

Cydney is a 2002 graduate of Pendleton High School. she earned a journalism degree in 2006 from the University of Oregon, and a masters degree in education in 2011 from Eastern Oregon University. She is employed by the Pendleton School District.

Kipp graduated from Pendleton High School in 2004. He holds a bachelors degree in environmental science from Carroll College, earned in 2008. He works for Price Cattle Company in Echo.
