School district to say goodbye to old Armand Larive

HERMISTON The Hermiston School District will open Armand Larive Middle School for community members to tour and reminisce Thursday, June 2 beginning at 4 p.m.
Thousands of Hermiston residents attended Armand Larive, originally built in 1936. It currently serves 480 sixth, seventh and eighth graders.
The school district broke ground on the new Armand Larive in January. It will be complete and open to students the start of the 2011-2012 school year.
