RICHLAND, Wash. Noel LeRoy Briggs, 73, of Pendleton died Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, Wash. No services have been scheduled.

Mr. Briggs was born Nov. 6, 1938, in Minnesota to Donald and Blanche (Benedix) Briggs. He attended school in Maine and Yakima, Wash., and attended Auburn Academy for two years in Seattle. He was married to Juanita Dames.

He worked for Fleetwood Manufacturing for several years.

Survivors include son Toby of Salem; daughters Karen of Pendleton and Shelly and Tammy of Arkansas; brother Keith Briggs of Caldwell, Idaho; sisters Carol Bradley and Karen Martin, both of Kennewick, Wash., and Penny Russell of Honolulu, Hawaii; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters Delores Colcord in 1972 and Donna Richardson in 2010.
