Glenna Rollis

HEPPNER Glenna May Rollis, 79, of Heppner died Monday, March 14, 2011, at a care facility in Hermiston. No service is planned at this time.

Mrs. Rollis was born Aug. 25, 1931, in Colville, Wash., to Frank M. and Olive M. Morgan Ball. She was raised and attended school at Kettle Falls, Wash., and lived in the Kettle Falls area for many years.

In 1970 she married Wayne Rollis in Post Falls, Idaho. The couple lived at Kinzua for three years before settling in Heppner. While in Heppner she owned and operated an upholstery business for many years. She also was a waitress at Cals and the Wagon Wheel restaurants in Heppner.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne Rollis of Heppner; sons James Judd of Lexington, Monty Judd of Chatter Roy, Wash., and Russell Rollis and James Rollis, both of Heppner; stepdaughters Esther Jackson of Spokane, Wash., Ruth Horton of Colville, Wash., and Susan Brenner of Texas; sisters Eva Campbell and Gloria Beadsley, both of Kettle Falls, Wash.; brother Frank Ball of Kettle Falls, Wash.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by son Henry Judd, daughter Shirley Judd and grandson Eric Rollis.

Memorial contributions may be made to the donors favorite charity.

Sweeney Mortuary of Heppner is in charge of arrangements.
