HERMISTON – Dale J. Morrell, 52, of Hermiston died Friday, June 18, 2010, at his home. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 25 at Burns Mortuary Chapel in Hermiston.

Mr. Morrell was born Sept. 15, 1957, in Missoula, Mont., to Donald and Grace Smith Morrell. He was raised around the Salmon River area of Idaho. He worked as an electrician before joining the Army.

After his honorable discharge, he resumed working as an electrician on many projects throughout the Northwest. He worked and lived in many places, although Hermiston remained his home. He most recently worked for the IBEW Local #112. He married Melanie Loveland in 2006 in Las Vegas, Nev.

Mr. Morrell is survived by his wife, Melanie Loveland-Morrell of Hermiston; son Justin Morrell of San Antonio, Texas; daughter Aristea Loveland of Hermiston; parents Gracie and Stanley Mills of Irrigon and Donald and Marilyn Morrell of Pilot Rock; brothers Douglas Morrell of Hermiston and Duard Morrell of Pasco, Wash.; and sister Katherine Morrell of Kennewick, Wash.
