Tiffany Rose Myrland and James Ward Connell of Hermiston were united in marriage Aug. 22, 2009, at the Hermiston Assembly of God Church. Pastor Terry presided over the double-ring ceremony. Tiffany is the daughter of Mike and Diane Snow of Hermiston. James is the son of Earl and Alita Connell, also of Hermiston.
The bride wore a white strapless gown with a train, and carried a bouquet of pink Gerber daisies with baby’s breath.
She was attended by her sister, Katrina Myrland of Hermiston, as matron of honor. Her bridesmaids were sisters Shauna Myrland of Kennewick, Wash., and Stanna Howell of Hermiston, and sisters-in-law Gloria Connell of Hermiston and Angie Connell of Stanfield.
Flower girls were nieces Shyanne Connell of Stanfield and Shayla Anderson of Kennewick, Wash.
The groom was attended by his best friend, Luis Solano of Hermiston, as his best man. Groomsmen were his cousin Kelley Murphy of West Pasco, Wash., brothers Sam Connell of Hermiston, Mike Connell of Stanfield and Earl Connell of Boardman. Nephews Sammy Connell of Kennewick, Wash., and Cody Connell of Boardman, and brother-in-law Tim Myrland of Hermiston, served as ushers. Nephews Mikey Connell of Stanfield and Tyler Myrland of Hermiston were ring bearers, and nieces Jordan Connell of Boardman and Emily Anderson of Battle Ground, Wash., lighted the candles prior to the service.
Music for the service, “From This Moment,” was performed by sister-in-law Katrina Myrland of Hermiston.
After a reception at the Pheasant Cafe in Hermiston, the couple enjoyed a wedding trip to the Oregon coast. They are at home in Hermiston.
Tiffany is a 2001 graduate of Hermiston High School. She is attending Blue Mountain Community College, where she is majoring in nursing. She also works at Walmart in Hermiston. James graduated from Riverside High School in Boardman in 1998. He works for Union Labor Local 348 in Pasco, Wash.
