TODAY

SHERMAN?COUNTY?FAIR, all day, 66147 Lonerock Road, Moro. 4-H/FFA showmanship, animal judging; 7:30 p.m., Sherman County Locals Games, includes ATV versus horse barrel race, cow hide race, wild cow milking, team penning, cow pie toss.

ENGLISH/SPANISH CONVERSATION SKILLS, 6 p.m., Pendleton Public Library, 502 S.W. Dorion Ave. For English and Spanish speakers to gain better conversation skills in both languages. Beginners to native speakers welcome. Contact Laurie Doherty at 541-379-4118 for more information.

SHERMAN?COUNTY?FAIR, all day, 66147 Lonerock Road, Moro. 4-H My Favorite Outfit judging, 4-H trail horse, baking, Western equitation and English Open Class competitions; 1 p.m., Sherman County Local Games: talent show, wheelbarrow races, shoe scramble, mud tug-a-war, gold fish race, egg toss, watermelon eating contest, donkey basketball; 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., Fair dance.

SHERMAN?COUNTY?FAIR, all day, 66147 Lonerock Road, Moro. 8 a.m., Fun run/walk; 9 a.m. geocache event signups; 10 a.m., parade; 2 p.m., kids games; 4 p.m., geocache hunt awards; 4:30 p.m., 4-H/FFA awards; 5 p.m., 4-H/FFA livestock auction; 7 p.m., High School Rodeo.

HERMISTON FARMERS MARKET, 8 a.m. to noon, Hermiston Conference Center parking lot, 415 S. Highway 395. Live music, fresh vegetables and fruits, baked goods, grilled foods, crafts and much more. Call Kelly at 541-571-1952 for more information, or to obtain a vendor space.
