    Pendleton Police Wednesday morning

received a report of a vehicle that had its windows spray painted with

black paint in the 2700 block of Southwest Goodwin Avenue.

    The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office

received a report Wednesday of puppies which had gone missing from a

residence in the vicinity of 81200 Sagebrush Road in Hermiston. The

dogs’ owners found the puppies; they had been killed and stuffed into a

cat house, which was left by the owner’s car.

    The Hermiston Police Department was

notified about an incident Wednesday regarding a male in a white van

taking photographs of children on the playground at Rocky Heights
