Noah

IONE – Noah Matthew Burke, 4, died Monday, March 3, 2008, following an accidental drowning near his home north of Ione. Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 8, at Ione Community Church. A private family burial will be held at High View Cemetery in Ione.

Noah was born March 3, 2004, in Port Angeles, Wash. to Kenneth M. and Sara K. Jones Burke. The family moved to the Ione area in 2007. He attended the Creative Care Preschool in Ione, and enjoyed spending time with his mom, dad and his sister Chloe. He loved to run, ride his bicycle and explore his environment, and enjoyed the horses and cows roaming around the farm.

Survivors include his parents, Ken and Sara Burke of Ione; sister Chloe Burke of Ione; maternal grandparents Mark and Lee Anderson of Santa Rosa, Calif.; and paternal grandfather Douglas Burke of Port Angeles, Wash.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandmother Bertha Burke.
