Genia Grant of Hermiston, daughter of Bonnie Shover of Enumclaw, Wash. and the late Michael Grant, announces her engagement to Bobbie Watkins of Wilder, Idaho, son of Bob and Pam Watkins of Wilder.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Heppner High School. She attended Blue Mountain Community College and Eastern Oregon University. She is employed as a legal assistant at Burns Law Office in Pendleton.

The groom is a 2003 graduate of Jordan Valley High School. He will attend Northwest Lineman College. He is employed at King Excavation in Caldwell, Idaho.

A Sep. 20, 2008 wedding is planned in Hermiston.
