HERMISTON – Betsy Bennett has joined five other certified public accountants making Barnett & Moro one of the largest account firms in Eastern Oregon.

After working with the company as an accountant for the past three years, Bennett recently was promoted after passing her CPA exam.

The exam is a series of four tests that take about two days. To become a certified public accountant, applicants need a bachelor’s degree with 150 semester hours, including 48 semester hours of accounting or related subjects, and 12 months of experience under direct supervision of an active CPA.
