ENUMCLAW, WASHINGTON – James E. “Jim” Davis, of Enumclaw, Wash., formerly of Weston, and former employee of Lamb-Weston, died on Oct. 24, 2007, at the Auburn Regional Medical Center in Auburn, Wash.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Weston Cemetery. Memorial service will follow the graveside service at 3 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Weston. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. on Friday and from 9-Noon on Saturday.

Mr. Davis was born Oct. 19, 1921 in Dadeville, Ala. to John Henry and Urah Jane Smith Davis. After his school he joined the U.S. Army, serving during World War II. He received the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Ribbon with one battle star. Mr. Davis worked as a farmer and in the textile industry in Georgia and Alabama. He later moved to Weston and worked for Lamb-Weston. Mr. Davis later moved to Seattle where he worked as a janitor and security officer at Panco Insurance before retiring. Mr. Davis enjoyed gardening, puzzles, and traveling. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Weston.
Mr. Davis was preceded in death by stepson Mike McClure.
He is survived by son Jamie Allen Davis of Auburn, Wash.; stepdaughters, Brenda Lopez of Buckley, Wash.; Sylvia Watson of Maple Valley, Wash.; two stepsons Edward McClure of Lake Bay, Wash.; Drew McClure of Florida; one brother John Davis of Weston, two sisters, Elsie Whitehead of Los Angeles, and Linnie Pike of Weston.
