David Howard Partlow

PILOT ROCK – David Howard Partlow died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2007, at his home in Pilot Rock.
At his request, there will be no funeral service. However, friends and family are invited to gather for a celebration of his life from 2-5 p.m. Saturday at Pilot Rock City Park.

Mr. Partlow was born Feb. 9, 1938, in Kokomo, Ind., to Delbert and Elizabeth Partlow. He graduated from Sugar Creek High School in Pickerd, Ind.
He married Sharon Sue Bailey on Sept. 5, 1959. They later divorced.
He lived in Pilot Rock more than 20 years, working as a truck driver, mail carrier and at Sampson’s Saloon. In his retirement, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping.
Mr. Partlow is survived by sons Brian of Hawaii, Tony of Salem, Tracy, Kerry, Brett and Shane of Indiana and Darrin of New Hampshire; foster daughters Tami Cribbs Nelson of Gresham and Katrina Kimbrow of Indiana; sisters Debra Cross, Teresa Hicks and Sue Ann Pappas; brothers Noville, Michael, Patrick, Delbert, James, Thomas and John; 18 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Burns Mortuary of Pendleton is in charge of arrangements.
