DES MOINES, Wash. – Pauline Elizabeth Weller Shaver died July 30, 2007, in Des Moines, Wash. She was 87. A graveside service was held Friday in Renton, Wash.
Mrs. Shaver was born Sept. 26, 1919, in Yakima, to John and Laura Brower Weller. She was the youngest of four daughters who traveled as musical evangelists during the 1930s and 40s.
On Easter Sunday, April 5 1942, she married Lynn Shaver in Yakima. They lived in Hermiston and in Yakima. They returned to Hermiston raised milk cows.
They moved to Renton in 1966. Mrs. Shaver worked for Bell Telephone in Seattle until her retirement.
She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
She loved flowers, pictures of family and friends and pretty clothes.
Mrs. Shaver is survived by daughters Linda Pratt of Stanfield, Lillian Heath of Tulalip, Wash., Ellen Ellenberger of Stanfield and Marilyn Shaver in Marysvills, Wash.; sons John in Hermiston, James in Lynnwood Wash., and Jeff in Federal Way, Wash.; 19 grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 18 step-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
She was preceeded in death by her husband; parents; and three sisters.
