HERMISTON – Ethel I. Horn-Male died Sunday, July 8, 2007, at Good Shepherd Medical Center. She was 79.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Desert Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Irrigon.

She was born April 5, 1928, in Dunsmuir, Calif., to Leo and Bertha Eades Clendenen. She lived most of her life in Oregon and graduated from high school in Sweet Home. She was resident of the Hermiston area since 1969. She was a member of the Grange in Boardman and the Columbia River Harvesters. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, hunting, fishing, crabbing, and the outdoors.

She is survived by daughter Harlene Rogers of Irrigon; sons Regie Horn of Hermiston, Mike Horn of Portland, and Bill Horn of Umatilla; sister Carleen Owens of Forest Ranch, Calif.; brother Homer Clendenen of Tillamook; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by husbands Harold Horn, Joe Rodriguez and Glenn Male; two sisters; and three brothers.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Columbia River Harvesters in Boardman.

Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in charge of arrangements.
