D & B Supply opens

PENDLETON – D & B Supply is open for business.

The western home and family company, based in Caldwell, Idaho, has spent the past few months renovating and upgrading the old Kmart building at 850 Southgate, above Abby’s Pizza and below McDonald’s.

Workers put up the business’s sign Thursday. The site has a resurfaced parking lot and in the 55,000-square-foot building it has new shelves, new products and new employees.

Operating since 1959, D & B Supply specializes in western supplies and outdoor clothing, pet food and supplies, lawn and garden products, agricultural fencing and other ag and farm-related products. The company has stores in southern Idaho and Eastern Oregon, including Baker City and Island City, which was one of the company’s original four stores.

The other eight stores are in Ontario and Caldwell, Nampa, Meridian, Garden City, Mountain Home, Jerome and Twin Falls, Idaho. The distribution and administrative offices also are in Caldwell.

The official grand opening will be March 28th through April 2. D & B will give away more than $6,000 worth of gift cards during the event, along with special pricing on all of its name brand merchandise.
