Annette Niord of Pendleton brought her grandchildren to Bellinger Farms in Hermiston recently for a ride in the pumpkin patch.

Niord said Keefer Breshears, 20 months, was excited to get a big pumpkin for his “papa.” Niord explained “papa” is Breshears’ grandfather, Mike Niord.

Sydney Moore, 2, had a hard time choosing just the right pumpkin, but finally found the perfect one after examining at least a dozen.
